Experience

I am a senior public relations consultant with a background in print journalism. During 15 years in the public relations business I have worked in-house, as an associate in a consultancy and, since 2000, as a self-employed consultant (formerly Jan Power Communications) for a wide range of both government and private-sector clients.

With an MA degree in English (first-class honours) and more than 20 years in print journalism before entering public relations, I am particularly strong at writing assignments and media relations.

Teamwork

For larger projects I can draw on the services of colleagues well-qualified in specialist fields such as pre-press work. This means I can oversee your project through all stages from planning to implementation.

Back-up

I am available to work with and assist your own in-house Public Relations manager or team at busy times or to undertake special projects such as Annual Reports.
